We offer wedding receptions in a exceptional boutique venue that isn't your usual historic hotel wedding venue. CAN WE BRING EXTRA BEVERAGES IF WE WANT TO DRINK MORE THAN WINE?

Yes. Discuss this with our venue and we (or your caterer) may be able to supply additional drinks upon request.

CAN WE START OUR WEDDING EARLIER ON THE WEEKEND?

At Mewstone, we are first and foremost a winery. Our cellar door is open to the public on weekends until 4pm which takes priority. Any weddings over the weekend can start from 5pm onwards only.

DO I HAVE TO HAVE A WEDDING PLANNER?

Yes. All our Intimate weddings are planned and coordinated through our preferred wedding planner.

WAIT, BUT I AM NOT HAVING A WEDDING. CAN YOU CATER TO OTHER EVENTS?

At the discretion of Mewstone winery, please discuss your event with us. As we are a small family business and prioritise our cellar door, events will only be accepted on an exceptional basis.

CAN YOU BOOK TRANSPORT FOR OUR GUESTS?

Bus transport can be supplied and must be arranged in conjucntion with your wedding planner.

CAN WE THROW CONFETTI AT THE CEREMONY?

Dried and fresh petals only. No rice or confetti, including bio-confetti.

ARE DOGS PERMITTED FOR CEREMONY?

Yes. We are happy to accomodate for ceremony as long as dogs are kept on a lead at all times and is cleaned up after.

WHO PLAYS MY CEREMONY MUSIC?

Your celebrant is responsible for organising their PA SYSTEM.

CAN I EXTEND MY RECEPTION TIME?

We require all events to finish by 10.30pm as we also have strict noise restrictions.

CAN I BRING MY OWN WEDDING CAKE?

We do require cakes to be provided by certified chefs.

CAN I PROVIDE MY OWN MUSIC?

If you do not want live music or a DJ, you are more than welcome to play your own music through our PA System. You will need to nominate a guest to control this throughout the evening.

WHEN CAN I DROP OFF STYLING ITEMS?

Your wedding planner can arrange this OR you can bring these items of the day of or at rehearsal.

WHAT ARE THE BUMP IN TIMES FOR SUPPLIERS?

All day Monday- Thursday and from 3.30pm on weekends. Please speak to your wedding planner about collection of items the following day.

WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM GUESTS?

We host intimate weddings up to 20 persons.
