Fruit from vineyards in the Coal River and Derwent Valleys and the D’Entrecasteaux Channel. 60% merlot, skin soaked for 4 hours, 40% Pinot noir whole bunch pressed, all barrel fermented with natural yeast and matured on lees. Bottled unfined and filtered.
Dainty red currants, raspberries and strawberries dominate the aromas. A leafy edge and some fine tannins balance a generous palate full of red fruits.
