Picked on April 5th. Whole bunch pressed, racked to barrel and naturally fermented. Aged in oak, 40% new, while undergoing malolactic ferment for 13 months and bottled in late autumn. Only 1284 bottles and 50 magnums produced. Alc 13.2%
Tropical fruits and white floral aromas are supported by hints of grapefruit, citrus and cedar. Underlying reduction adds a savoury dimension. The palate has great weight and texture with the acid providing balance. The warm season is on full show in this rich, powerful edition of our Chardonnay.
