Grapes grown at Mewstone vineyard were hand picked on the 24th of April at 12.2 baume. It was whole bunch pressed directly to french oak (40% new) and naturally fermented. It underwent full malolactic ferment before being aged on lees for nine months.

Reflecting the cool growing season this wine displays grapefruit and citrus notes layered of hints of warmer fruits. A reductive note adds a savoury edge. It’s bright and long, gentle phenolics and generosity from time on lees rounds out the palate.
